So how to avoid cramps while running, swimming and more?
In 2018 I ran 135 marathons and I did not get gramps doing my running. But I dit get cramps often while swimming… because I did not do the training needed.
When I in 2016 finished 6 Ironman triathlons I swam 8 km. many weeks and did not get cramps while swimming.
.. and it is not just me.
I often run with others… many talks about getting cramps. The more I get to know about their running (distance run and speed) I see the same pattern. If you do not put sufficient training, you get cramps. But if you do the training you will have less cramps – and that without salt tablets, eating many bananas or driking iso or pickle juice.
